Indian women’s team fast bowler Mansi Joshi has been found to be Corona positive. According to a Cricinfo report, Mansi will no longer be part of the women’s T20 Challenger to be played in the UAE next month.
Mansi is in Quarantine in Dehradun after coming back positive in the Corona virus investigation and has not gone to Mumbai, where the other Indian players participating in the T20 Challenger arrived on 13 October.
27-year-old Mansi was included in the Velocity team in the women’s T20 Challenger and now replaced by fast bowler Meghna Singh. The women’s T20 Challenger tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 4 to 9. It will be attended by three women teams – Supernovas, Trailblazers and Velocity.
Mansi has played 11 ODIs and eight T20 matches for India since his 2016 debut.
