Former England captain Michael Vaughan has given his opinion about many matches and players during the IPL 2020. Vaughan has named a RCB player in the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians on October 28, saying that he wants to see this player playing for India for years.
This player is none other than the young opening batsman of RCB Devdutt Padikkal and Vaughan has praised Padikkal. Vaughan’s statement came when Paddikkal was lambasting his bowlers against Mumbai. Padikkal took a dangerous stand against Mumbai from the very beginning and where all the RCB batsmen were struggling to score runs, they scored an unmatched innings of 74 runs in 45 balls.
Michael Vaughan wrote about Devdutt Padikkal on his official Twitter handle, writing," Devdutt Padikkal seems like a player who can probably serve the BCCI (Indian team) for a long time… a great batsman."
Let us know that Padikkal has played a total of 12 matches so far in IPL 2020, in which he has scored a total of 417 runs and he is in the top-5 batsmen in the list of batsmen scoring the most runs this year.
