Chineman Kuldeep Yadav is under pressure to do well even in the 13th season of IPL but he is willing to take some new arrows out of his quiver regardless. The 13th season of the IPL starts in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 September. This time IPL is being played in UAE due to Kovid-19.
Kuldeep’s previous IPL was not good and he was able to take just four wickets in nine matches. That is the reason they were eliminated from the team final-11 in the end matches. The team finished fifth and did not qualify in the playoffs.
Kuldeep played his last T20 match against Sri Lanka in January. On February 5, he played his last ODI against New Zealand in Hamilton. After this Kovid-19 stopped everything.
Kuldeep while talking to IANS said, “I have worked on some balls, especially for the T20 format. You will get to see it in the IPL.”
Kuldeep said that his chances of being successful have increased due to the pitches present in the UAE which are favored by the spinners.
The left-arm spinner said, “These conditions are pleasing to me. It’s hot here. It was the same when I was at home, it was hot and humid. So I don’t feel much heat. So I am very happy I am happy if you talk about the wicket because the spinners have helpful wickets here. So I will benefit a lot. “
When asked about the lessons learned from the previous IPL, Kuldeep said that he will no longer be in a hurry on anything and he is ready to accept failure.
He said, “You need to plan all the time. This experience is very important. Also, you always get time to do something. You should not be hasty. If you are in a hurry, there is a possibility of a mistake. Cricket is a sport where you cannot do well all the time. You have to accept failure. Only then will you be able to be a good player. “
He said, “Experience is something that I will learn from. What happened to me in the last IPL happens to everyone. Struggle is part of the game. It should not be hyped in such a way that it affects your performance, people talk. “The player should not judge it accordingly. You don’t know how hard it takes. It works many times and not many times.”
Expectation is pressure? ” I want to get down and take the team forward.
He said, “As a senior player you always want to do well and that is what the fans want too. So you might feel a little nervous but I wouldn’t take it as pressure.”
