Chennai needed one run from the last ball to win and Jadeja made it to the team with a six off long-on from Kamlesh Nagerkot’s length ball. With this, Chennai became the team to win the most matches with a six off the last ball.
This is the sixth time in the IPL when Chennai won the match with a six off the last ball of the innings. Mumbai Indians have done this 5 times, Rajasthan Royals 4 and Kings XI Punjab 3 times.
