August 13, New Delhi. Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who has been away from international cricket for almost a year, recently started training in the wake of IPL in his hometown of Ranchi. Apart from this, a big news has come that Dhoni and CSK teammate Monu Kumar have given their samples for the Corona Test.
According to a report, an official of Microproxis Labs has confirmed that Dhoni’s sample has been taken from his hometown Ranchi for the test. The lab is part of the “Gurunanak Hospital and Research Center Authorized for RT-PCR Tests for Corona”.
The lab official said, “A team from our lab went to Dhoni’s Simalia farmhouse from where they sampled both cricketers at around 2 pm. Their samples have been sent for testing and till Thursday Its result will be told.
Sources say that on August 15, the management of Chennai Super Kings will send a chartered plane to their city Ranchi to pick up Dhoni from where Dhoni and his teammate Monu Kumar will come to Chennai. A short practice session will be held for all the players in Chennai after which the entire CSK team will leave for UAE on 22 August.
Since the tournament starts on September 19, IPL officials do not want to leave any stone unturned to make this tournament a success. They do not want any relaxation of the players regarding the corona, so ordered to have everyone investigated for their complete safety.
Under the BCCI rules, only players whose test will be negative twice will be allowed to play in the tournament.
