Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has said that it was a day where almost every shot of his team was going into the hands of the fielders after the five-wicket loss to Mumbai Indians on Wednesday.
Bangalore, batting first, scored 164 runs at the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. There seemed to be a time when the team would score big but after the wickets of Kohli and AB de Villiers fell quickly, the team stumbled and managed to score a respectable score. Mumbai achieved the target by losing five wickets five balls ago.
After the match, Kohli said, "It was a bit strange to bat there. All the shots that were shot there were going into the hands of the fielders. He bowled in good places and let us score 20 runs less. We still challenged him well. We were in the 17th over match."
They said, "Tonight we thought the ball would swing quickly so we brought in Chris Maurice and Dale Steyn. After that we went with Washington Sundar. The match was very challenging I think they batted well."
