The Indian team has been announced for India’s tour of Australia starting at the end of 2020. The tour between the two teams will begin with the ODI series on 27 November at the Adelaide ground.
Meanwhile, former Australian fast bowler Jason Gillespie has named two players who are not members of the Indian team for the tour of Australia and in his absence, the Australian team will give India a tremendous knock in the Test series.
Gillespie has predicted that before the start of the Test series, it has been said that this Test series against the host team ie Australia, India will be named and the main reason for this is that the Indian team’s two main fast bowlers, Ishant Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar Happen.
Significantly, Ishant Sharma has been out of his team Delhi Capitals due to a strain in his abdominal muscles since the middle of IPL 2020 and it may take some time to recover. Therefore, the BCCI did not give him a place in the Test series and his health is being closely monitored right now. Apart from this, Bhuvneshwar Kumar has also been ruled out of the IPL due to a leg injury and he too has not got a place for this tour.
Jason Gillespie while talking to Hindustan Times has said that Ishant Sharma is the most experienced and great bowler in Test for India and he played a key role in winning India in the 2018 Test series.
He said that Australia will get a big advantage of playing at home and it is a big contender to win this Test series.
However, Gillespie has said that India have two unmatched bowlers in the form of Ishant Sharma and Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the form of Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammed Shami and will do well for their team.
