The statement, which was termed as illegal by the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Apex Council meeting, was denied by Union Joint Secretary Rajan Manchand on Tuesday. The DDCA meeting held on Sunday was told that the directors appointed by the central government did not have their Director Identification Number (DIN) number. Director Sanjay Bhardwaj and lawyer Gautam Dutta, who were DDCA consultants and legal retainers, were removed from the posts at this meeting. Both of them had said on Tuesday that the meeting of the top council of DDCA is illegal and conducted through remote control.
Manchanda told IANS, “How can he say that the directors appointed by Sarakar do not have DIN numbers and the meeting on Sunday is illegal? They all have DIN numbers. Maninder Singh’s DIN 07170182, Rajni This is Abbi’s DIN 08867489 and Sunil Kumar Yadav’s DIN 07238172. “
DIN is a number assigned to the director of a company.
Bhardwaj called the meeting illegal, saying that the directors do not have a DIN number. At the same time, Datta had said that not four directors attended this meeting, who were retired under rotation by the former Lokpal.
The issue of DDCA’s apex council meeting on Sunday was also raised in the hearing of the case of DDCA and its director Sudhir Kumar Aggarwal in the Delhi High Court on Tuesday, senior advocate Kapil Sibal referring to the meeting, appearing for DDCA. The court asked him to file a separate objection as he would only hear the FAO 92/2020 case.
Dutta told Manchanda among those who disputed MSL Jangid more than 60 million contracts to build a restaurant, bar, members lounge at Ferozeshah Kotla. When a DDCA officer protested and looked at the firm’s address, he found no one there.
“I had already disclosed the details of the big financial scandal of tainted directors, in which three directors along with the joint secretary were under investigation in the forensic audit,” Dutta said in a written reply to IANS.
Manchanda said that he is ready for any kind of investigation, “I do not want to say much on this issue except that if I am involved in any kind of wrongdoing, then they should put an inquiry against me to find out the truth Want. I’ll be available for this 24 hours. “
At the same time some people say that this is being done to delay the elections for the four directors, who were retired by the former Lokpal. Elections were to be held on August 15 to fill their vacancies, but this did not happen.
In the case of DDCA vs Sudhir Kumar Agarwal, 17 applicants have submitted their applications. The court reserved its decision on Tuesday.
