Ind vs Aus: The Australian ODI and T20 squad have been announced for the limited overs series against India starting on 27 November. Young player Cameron Green has been selected for the first time in the team. New South Wales all-rounder Moises Henriques has returned to the team.
India and Australia will play ODIs from November 27 and T20 series from December 4. Cricket Australia’s selection committee gave a chance to all experienced players except Cameron Green. National selector Trevor Hohns expected the team to perform brilliantly against India.
The 21-year-old Green has played 9 ODIs for Western Australia. He has represented Perth Scorchers in 13 T20 matches. Hanericks earned the Sydney Sixers BBL title last season. He also performed well in the opening matches of the Sheffield Shield. He has previously played for Australia’s ODI and T20 teams in 2017. He returned to the Australian team at the age of 33.
ODI and T20 series schedule:
The first matches of the three ODIs will be played on 27 and 29 November. Sydney Cricket Ground has been chosen to host both these matches. The last match will be played on 2 December in Canberra. The T20 series will be played in Canberra and Sydney. The first match will be held in Canberra on 4 December while the remaining two matches of the series will be in Sydney on 6 and 8 December.
